I thought that the toy itself was really cute; however, it came with absolutely no instructions. It took us a while to figure out how the toy worked and how to make the eggs come out of the chicken. Once we figured it out; it was a huge success with my one year old granddaughter. She had a lot of fun putting the eggs back into the chicken and watching them come out again.

Funny But A Little Slow?

This toy is hilarious to watch when it lays the eggs. However, although it comes with 4 eggs, you can only feed 2 at a time. My 2 year old niece was a bit frustrated because she wanted to feed the toy all 4 eggs at once. The toy is for ages 9 months and up, so in retrospect, I would give it to a younger child.
