Identified Special Needs Challenges: Vision Impairment "We didn't think about the size of the table that would be needed for playing solitaire with the Giant Playing Cards. I'd suggest considering the length of reach of the person who will be using them. If these cards were to be used in a game such as gin rummy, they might be difficult to hold for someone with small, weak, or arthritic hands. Perhaps a Giant Card Holder would be helpful. The cards are a little tricky to shuffle, but seem to get better with use." Giant Playing Cards

The user has a vision problem and these cards enable her to play many games with her friends. What she really would like is giant pinochle cards. Such a thing available?

The oversize cards are perfect for playing cards with my friend who has trouble seeing and is happy now that we can play cards.

I purchased the Giant Playing Cards for my 92-year-old aunt who lives with us, and who has macular degeneration. She can't see regular-size playing cards. She is able to make out the suit and the number on the card, so she can entertain herself by playing solitaire from time to time. The only thing we didn't take into consideration is the size of the table needed to play!
