We are truly wound up about this revolutionary design. An inside or outside toy designed like a trike without any pedals, gears or batteries! More fun than a scooter...and it supports up to 220 pounds!!!
Yep, even Grandpa can take a spin!!!
What puts the PlasmaCar in a class by itself though, is the very nature of this cool science toy...
The PlasmaCar is powered by inexhaustible kid-power and harnesses the natural forces of centrifugal force and gravity. Effectively reducing forces of friction & inertia in its design! It's a fun car so easy to operate; all it needs is a driver and a smooth, flat surface!
The bike of the future! To mobilize this fun riding toy simply turn the wheel from left to right and let nature's forces do the work!
To slow down - just stop turning the wheel...
To stop - just put your feet down on the floor or pavement.

As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 3 years of age.
Identified Special Needs Challenges: Autism
"My 4 year old Grandson has Autism. He likes bikes and cars. He doesn't have the balance or coordination required to ride a bike. He is very tall so the toddler cars, even the motorized ones are too small for him. This fits him very well, size wise, and has enough room so that even when he grows he can still use it. I like that it doesn't have any batteries or require any charging or anything. I like that it's low enough to the ground. I'm not worried about him falling or being injured. He gets some exercise when he pushes along with his feet. Bikes and other toy cars in the past have not worked for him. This car is amazing. Great Price. Most importantly he is so happy and so proud of himself when he's on it. "
Identified Special Needs Challenges: Hydrocephalus
"Our 2 yr old grandchild has a Dandy Walker Variant, which is a slight brain malformation. He has to work a little harder to accomplish many tasks that he faces in a day. His main difficulty is his speech. He has good balance. He was able to drive the plasma car right from his initial time of getting on the car. He seemed confident while riding. He seemed to know how to operate it without any direction of any kind from an adult. It was an excellent choice of toy for this toddler."
Identified Special Needs Challenges: ADD/ADHD,
"In my dance and gymnastic studio we have students with different type challenges. I feel this product could be used in a creative way for developing skills or just for the freedom of having fun."
Identified Special Needs Challenges: Developmental Delay
"Due to multiple open heart surgeries and a shoulder deformity, our son has limited trunk movement and decreased strength in his arms and hands. The plasma car enables him to have fun while using the muscles he has the most trouble with. He is having fun while exercising!"
Identified Special Needs Challenges: Cerebral Palsy
"Elizabeth crossed her legs in front of the PlasmaCar, which stretched her leg muscle until they burned she said. Also she had to use her right arm and hand to turn the car. This is work for her, but she wanted to ride. She told me she would ride the car again because it was fun."

It worked really well. 3 of my grandchildren (ages 18 mos, 7, and 9) sat in the car at the same time and rolled around a table in the house again and again and again squealing with delight They had such a good time. I had seen it several times in the on-line catalog and I am so glad that I purchased it for them.
The steering wheel is very precise so they can turn it easily. Several kids can enjoy it at the same time if they are not too big.
Great car my two-year-old daughter can almost completely negotiate herself. My husband loves that he can also ride it, with or without her on his lap. She is little, but I am told by everyone kids play with it for many years.

This is the most awesome car. We gave it to our daughters for Christmas, and they haven't stopped using it. My youngest (5) has it with her almost everywhere she goes in the house. She'll use it as a chair to eat a snack or take her stuffed animals on rides. It's even great in small spaces because it can turn on a dime. My husband said assembly was very easy - he was done in less than 10 minutes - and that includes gathering the tools and taking a couple breaks (he's easily distracted). My eldest (8) also loves it... At one point I had to set a timer so they knew when to switch because they fought over it at first. I highly recommend.
