Further Historical Information:
A teepee (also tipi, tepee) is a conical tent originally made of skins and popularized by the American Indians of the Great Plains. Today, they are usually covered in canvas and lived in by American Indian families attending Powwows or Encampments, teaching further generations of traditions. They are also used by historical re-enactors and "back to earth" people, and in some places they are used for tourist lodgings. The word Teepee comes into English from the Lakota language meaning "to dwell" and "house."

Excellent! I purchased this for a 4 year old boy, but all of his siblings (6, 10 & 13 years old) have enjoyed playing with it. It was easy to assemble and easy to fold up to transport to another location. It is large enough inside for several children and an adult. It is great for games, sleeping, and all kinds of play. We all loved it. It exceeded my expectations.

I went looking for a product made in the USA this fall and found one that the kids love! This tee pee provides our 3 children a place to pretend they're Indians and act out their version of history. It also gives them a place to hang out in, and best of all it will withstand the outdoors and is easy to transport when they want to take it outside or inside. Good choice! We painted it and everyone has their handprint on it and their name. Great heirloom for generations...

My daughter is 2 years old and loves playing in her new tee pee with our dog. The product is very sturdy, easy to take down once put together. I found the directions a little confusing, but once it was up there is no need to take apart again. Just fold the tee pee in, and put away. I am very satisfied with this item and I believe we will get many years of fun play with it.

The Tee Pee was well worth the money. Sturdy, built-well, an all around a good purchase. Enough room for two children and an adult to sit in.
