My daughter, who is 4, really loved making the lip gloss. The directions include how to talk about the changes in the substances going from a solid to a liquid back to solid. It also includes hints to talk about the five senses with the project. I would look for more by this company.

We gave these out at my 7 year old daughter's science party. It is easy to use and makes real lip balm. The only problem I noticed was it claims the lip balm tastes like cotton candy...ours had no flavor.
