My Grandmother had this origninal book for my mother and aunt and as children we wore it out. By the time my son was born duct tape rounded corners and crayon marks filled many pages. It was still my son's favorite, especially when my grandmother reads to him. When I found this book in a more manageable size but the same quality and color of the original I was thrilled. My son takes it in the car, to both Grandma and Great-Grandma's for play dates and loves to read it at home. Thank you!!

I bought this book for my six month old grandson. My children had this same book when they were growing up. Imagine my delight when I found it! Naturally an adult reads this book to him. However, as an educator of elementary-aged students this book hits the mark on traits for early education. The content of this Golden Book is full of examples applying cause and effect. From a very young age books are a wonderful gift for babies and toddlers because they promote composition of printed material and spatial acuity on a page. Books also promote familiy participation. One of the best gifts a child can receive is the love of reading.
