These are terriffic blocks. The shape sorter in the lid adds fun for toddlers while they grow into the block set. Toddlers stack and knock the blocks down, my preschool neice is into creating buildings, towns and animal houses. The blocks themselves are high quality and the paint adds a bit of charm.

Excellent quality for cost. I've purchased other inexpensive blocks made by Parents and Melissa and Doug. The Parents blocks had poor quality paint that rubbed off quite easily. The Melissa and Doug blocks were of good quality but quite a bit more expensive. This 50 piece wooden block set is equally as good as the Melissa and Doug blocks, but less expensive.

My 2 year old grandsons love them. The blocks are the perfect size and shape for their little hands to build whatever their active imaginations picture. The blocks are played with every day.

So far these blocks have been a great purchase. My 20 month old daughter loves the colors and the different shapes. She is really enjoying it!
