Colorama: (n) A fun preschool game that teaches skills, skills, skills without kids knowing it! A must have for early learning at school and home.

Among the sample game variations introduced in game instructions:

Roll the dice. Green and Triangle? Find the green triangle in the pile of pieces and place it on the game board in the corresponding cutout. Game ends when all fields are covered.

OR

Take all of the pieces and put them in their proper places on the board. Then as you roll the dice, remove the pieces (by color, by shape, or by both characteristics) and put them beside you.

Colorama has so many variations, you'll appreciate the ability to customize this classic game to your child's needs. It includes very versatile pieces: 5 different shaped pieces (circle, square, triangle, hexagon, trapezoid) in 4 different colors (red, green, blue, yellow).

I am disappointed with the construction. As it's made of cardboard I'm not sure how long this will hold up. On the other hand, I am very satisfied with the multi play options. The game can grow with a child's development.

Great Therapy Toy

I am a Clinical Counselor and use Colorama in my practice with young children. Kids love it and remain enaged with the game which gives us time to talk about problems and the kids don't even realize we are doing therapy because they are so involved in the game.

Love this game!

My 2.5 year old daughter knows her colors and shapes, and was able to dive right into this game. The game offers several variations, depending on the knowledge level of the child, which gives it longevity. Our game came with one piece missing, but Fat Brain was quick to pass along word to Ravensburger, and a replacement piece was sent out quickly. We bought another one of these games for another young family member.
