I bought 3 of these puzzles for grandsons because they love puzzles! But, I goofed... I should NOT have gotten puzzles with 1000 pieces. Since they are sold in a toy store for children, I just assumed they would be good for ages 8 or 9. I didn't check to see if there was an age recommendation on the boxes. Actually, when I did check later, these puzzles have no age suggested. The puzzles are very difficult. I love puzzles also, but gave up trying on the one we opened. They were just under [] each, so I feel like I wasted the money.
