Step into the Enchanted Forest...
The good king has no heirs and is calling on you!
Cinderella's glass slipper, Aladdin's lamp, Puss' boots, the Emperor's crown - 13 magical surprises are hidden under the trees in the enchanted forest.
Find the "once upon a time" treasures, remember where they are on your way back to the castle, and you inherit the kingdom!
Travel the board, peeking underneath the trees...and remember which tree bears which treasure at its base, because the king will be asking for help soon. Then, it will be a race to the palace to tell him the news and become the next to take the throne!
Fun and unforgettable with beautiful artwork and classic fairytale illustrations, this game is a valuable keepsake game generations will enjoy. Cards feature lovely fairytale scenes and a special treasure is associated with each story.
An impressive skill-building game for kids. Children build concentration, vocabulary, memory, cooperation, self-esteem, problem solving abilities, imagination, and likely, a love of classic literature!
Additionally, addition and subtraction practice can be incorporated in this game! Two dice are used. A roll of a 5 and a 4 can get you nine spaces along but it can also get you 5 spaces in one direction and 4 in another. In this way a 5 and a 4 can be used to move one space!

As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 6 years of age.

"This is a straight forward game that is good for encouraging social interactions and turn taking for children on the autism spectrum. (Board games are often used as a structure around which to teach social interaction skills. ) The Enchanted Forest is good because it has a clear predictable structure and does not leave a lot of room for interpretation. Aside from memory skills, it does not require a lot of novel thought processing. The game is also appropriate for kids on the spectrum because it doesn't require cooperative play skills, but still has a social component. "

1 tree is missing. As an adult, I found it very hard to explain/understand the rules to my 6 yr old granddaughter. She figured out a way to play, her way! Only played it twice and she has asked to play again, which I'm ok with.

We ordered this game when our kids were 4 and 6. We had to play with them each on a team with an adult, but we enjoyed it, too. Can't say that about Chutes and Ladders or Candy Land. Now, at 5 and 7, they play it alone, the older cutting the younger some slack and helping him count. It is a great game for young children and adults to play together. We just bought it again for a friend who wanted some enjoyable actitivties to do with her daughter at home. The quality is so good that it will probably last until they have children.
This game is well made, as are all the Ravensburger products. Unfortunately, it did not capture the interest of my 6 and 8 year olds. I read previous reviews when deciding whether or not to purchase and 'went for it.' The game was a bit long and repetitive for them...wander around looking for the matching tree, make your way to the castle, then start all over again 2 more times. There were no fun twists like Sorry, etc. But not a bad game.
