This game is ok, but there are better products out there

I got this hoping that my children would LOVE it, but my expectations were too high. I do like it. I like the idea of it. The problem was that my children (ages 5 and 7) got frustrated with the pieces not fitting together easily enough. It's not a flaw in the design, but just a matter of a young child being able to put it together with ease. Another thing to note is that I was comparing this product with one that my friend has (Magformers, I believe). I really like what she has. The pieces in it are rounded and smooth with all of the magnets inside of the plastic outer shell whereas Geomag Panels seem unfinished in comparison. I'll be returning the Geomag Panels and purchasing the Magformers instead. Maybe Geomag Panels are better for older children?

	We concur. Geomag is a product designed for older children who desire construction challenge and have advanced finger dexterity. The small metal spheres and rods required to hold the panels together are just that - small. Magformers have no rods or spheres, just magnetic attraction in basic shapes. They are perfect for younger children. They require less accuracy with fine motor skills and - generally speaking, are enjoyed by younger kids who tend to be less patient.
