My grandchildren 8 & 5 years old both play with it. They've become very creative with ways to use the parts. The only con I have is the color of the rods. The clear color makes them hard to see when gathering them up after play. My 5 year old grandson likes to attach them to any thing metal( door handles to cabinets, the refrig etc) to build on. They do enjoy playing with them and were thrilled when we got them!

All 3 kids love them. I like them because they require the kids to use their creativity to build fun things. We had the GeoMags before, but the addition of the panels in this packet has enabled them to build more complex structures because of inproved stability of the shapes they were designing.

Fun but expensive

We love this toy, fun to build with and the panels add support. There are enough magnets to build the sphere (shown on box). It doesn't seem like very many magnets for the price.
