The globe was outstanding in every sense. The detail and color really caught the eye and made not only a great gift for our 8 year old grandson but made a beautiful addition to his bedroom. The detail was tremendous.

This was purchased for a five year old, and is a good globe for that age. It features a lot of animal life--where animals live around the globe--major cities and countries, but not states in the USA. Among the fancier toys he got as Christmas gifts, this would not rate the highest on his list, but I am sure it will be a more lasting toy as he uses it to find out about his world.

This is a birthday gift and the birthday has not come yet. I think it is
a very good quality gift that will last and last.
I am sorry that the states aren't outlined on the globe.

I would not recommend this item. The quality is poor for the price; light weight plastic, decal seam gaps, no on/off switch etc. We returned this item.
