Trucky 3 is one of the 4 new Smart Games designed for 2011. Trucky 3 only looks 3D, but has in fact 2D challenges. So it’s more like some kind of mini-tangram for little kids with the puzzle pieces placed vertically instead of horizontally.

The game is named Trucky 3, not because there was a Trucky 1 and 2, but because it contains 3 small trucks. The basis and cabins are made of wood, but the 10 different puzzle pieces are made of colorful ABS plastics. And the containers are made transparent, so you can see how the blocks are stacked inside. The object of the game is to fill up one or more trucks with a specific set of puzzle pieces. But none of the puzzle pieces should stick out higher than the border of the container. So it is always very clear for a child when the challenge has been solved correctly.

My grandson loves the trucks themselves and puts the shapes in back but I hope later he will come to actually play the patterns as his mother helps him in his development.

Great for the whole family

This is fun for all ages! Our 3yr old loves the beginner puzzles and our three older kids love them all! This is great fun for everyone :)

Fun for kids...and adults!

We gave this as a gift for Christmas. Of all the toys and games that were received, the recipient (4.5 yr old boy) chose to play with this first. He solved puzzles for a while, and after he went to bed, some of us adults took shots at the expert puzzles, too! I loved the quality craftsmanship and the visual interest of the trucks and pieces. I will definitely give this as a gift in the future! I also love that this toy/game develops spatial and problem-solving skills in an engaging way. The only downside is that it didn't come with its own storage container. That would be a great addition. Thanks, Fat Brain Toys!
