I like this toy because of the authenticity with which it portrays the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor. Toys like this help give kids a vivid cultural understanding of other times and places. If you give a kid this toy, you can expect her/him not only to be able to recognize representations of Hathor in museum exhibits, but to take an interest in reading about Hathor's attributes - and more broadly, in finding out about the lives and beliefs of ancient Egyptians. You carry similar toys depicting other ancient Egyptian deities, and these seem similarly excellent. I would like to see other such toys accurately representing aspects of other ancient and modern cultures.

One leg was shorter than the other on this one. The legs weren't spaced correctly so the toy could not stand up on its own. I have to lean it on something for it to stand up. But, other than that I love the toy. On the other Egypt toys if one leg was shorter than the other at least they could stand because the legs were spaced correctly.

Our 5 year old grandson is into anything 'Egypt' and he loves it! We will be looking into other 'Egyptian' toys from Fat Brain Toys for Christmas.

It is just the right size and the colors are vibrant. It stands easily on it's own and is a visible bright spot.
