Some of the instruments are a lot of fun, although this bag is a little flimsy and smells a bit of unhealthy plastic chemicals. My daughter likes carrying it around, but it's already coming apart. The snaps aren't very sturdy so the plastic is beginning to tear. I think you might want to upgrade to something a little better -- even if the price is higher. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We contacted our customer with the option of a return for credit or refund. Schylling, the manufacturer, is a very reputable company. This item is fully safety tested. Letting the product "breathe" for a few days before play will eliminate the new plastic smell.)
Great Toy

This is a great pretend doctor bag. My 3 year old son absolutely loves to play doctor especially since, I'm pregnant. I get to be his patient and he tests my blood pressure, checks my blood sugar levels and when I have a headache he uses his pill dispenser. This toy really makes him feel like he is helping his mommy get better and makes sure that his baby brother or sister is ok.
Also, the price is not bad at all. I went to a toy store to look at other doc bags and this one is the best for the vaule.
Not so bad

I bought this for my 4 year old son. While cute and full of the different items one might see at a doctor's office, everything was geared towards a much younger audience, say age 2. I was also disappointed that my son could not use the stethoscope to really listen through. I think this item would elicit more imagination from a younger audience. Upper preschool levels like to experience things in fact. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: For a realistic, working stethoscope try this version... Stethoscope.)

it is exactly what a little doctor needs to practice his skills I would recommend to a friend and may buy another in the future.

I was looking for the least expensive doctor's kit I could find as some can be quite expensive with too much stuff. We are very pleased with the kit and it comes with its own very cute doctor's bag.
