Identified Special Needs Challenges: ADD/ADHD, Autism "Our little guy also has a seizure disorder. He loves playing with an Erector set - this is his second set. He mostly creates his own designs, but then doesn't want to disassemble them. We'll probably be purchasing a third set before much longer. This little boy was totally shut down when he joined our family at age 27 months. He tested in the 14-month old range. He is in a regular third grade classroom now with minimal assistance. Erector sets are so good for developing dexterity, creative imagination. Also, they are so sturdy - they are hard to break." This appealed to me because my brothers played with these. The cool commemorative box looked like a convenient way to handle all the pieces and keep things organized.
