Good Blocks, But Not What I Was Looking For

I was looking for blocks to teach my daughter the letters of the alphabet. I wanted blocks that were longer than 1 - 1.25 inches per side. In that regard, these blocks are big and good. I am glad it comes in a box. My one disappointment was that these blocks have different capital letters on each of the six sides. A lot of the other blocks that I looked at elsewhere had a capital letter, couple of pictures corresponding to the letters, the small letter corresponding to the big letter, a number etc on it. I should have looked at the picture more carefully.
