As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 3 years of age.

"The sweeping motions along with filling and emptying the dustpan are repetitive movements that are helping my friends' child JJ with Down's Syndrome. He's improving both his motor skills and dexterity."
Information about Little Helper Broom Set

the broom was a gift for a great granddaughter who just turned two. the size was perfect for her and she loved it so much it had to sleep with her the first night!! she kept saying, I love you broom. Thank you G-Ma!!! how cute she was with it. the speed on the order ahd the prize was great. We have looked for a broom like this one and it is the first we found. A perfect buy and thank you very much.
I purchased this set because my 15-month old was forever following me around the house trying to help me use the broom as I swept. Now we keep this set in our broom closet with the "real" brooms and bring it out for our 15-month old only when we sweep (about once a day). This way, she learns what it's for and how to use it. She adores helping mom and dad and even though she's on the small side for her age, the broom doesn't overpower her. She'll grow into it better as she ages, but even now she can manage it and practice her sweeping motions. Seems quite durable and I love the bright, gender-neutral colors.

I bought this for a 15 month old and it is still a little big and cumbersome for her to use, but she enjoys just pushing it around. I am sure she will grow into it and have many years of happy use. These are identical to the real thing and so very appealing.
