I purchased the Magnetic ABC's for my office where I work with children with autism and other menta health disorders. They sit on my metal file cabinet. They are a fun and effective tool for evaluating basic knowledge of colors, letters, and spelling. Some of the children have difficulty writing and it can be a frustrating experience for them and the Magnetic ABC's allows them to demonstrate their skills while having fun. I highly recommend Magnetic ABC's because they are well made, durable, fun, and space saving.
Great Classic Blocks

Great product from the past. Magnets are strong enough to hold up the blocks, but not so strong you can't pull the letters off the metal object. Plenty of letters included, and excellent condition.

My daughter loves the magnets. The only problem is the magnet keeps falling off. Everyday when I come home there are several more blocks that on the floor with the magnet part still on the fridge. Overall, my daughter really enjoys them. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We contacted our customer with an offer for replacement magnets; however, she has re-glued the magnets and wishes to keep the original set.)

These blocks are very intense primary colors. I was hoping for softer colors, but not pastel. Other similar blocks I own had more rounded edges. These are sharp. Care in attaching the magnets to the backs of new blocks was careless. This does not affect the performance, nor do they present a hazard. The magnets are firmly attached, they just look bad. The can is not painted on the inside. This container also smells pine-y, just like the blocks were cut from the forest floor. Little details, but worth noting. The alphabet configuration however is better than the former product. There are more duplicates of commonly used vowels.
