This mailbox looks like the real thing. It is good as a bank. Also great as a toy if it is for a child who is not too young or rough with things. The little door gets crooked sometimes but is easy to straighten.

My children love this bank. They use it more as a toy to play with than as a place to store money (although it would be good for both). They enjoy putting money in & unlocking to take out, over & over again. The only problem we've had is that my younger child likes to put the key into the mail slot. Luckily it comes with two keys, so I keep one in my possession to prevent "lockouts."
