While the speedster is built very sturdy, the car is very heavy. It does nothing to stimulate a child. [This is a simple ride on car.] Other similar vehicles have many moving and audio parts for the child to use.

My granddaughter is only 20 months old. She loves her new pink car. She has not liked ride ons before this one. I believe it was because most of them are too wide for her to sit on. She would just get frustrated and get off. This pink car is sleek and easy to guide. Her feet touch the ground. It has a wheel instead of handles to control its direction. She is happily having lots of fun riding it. Grannie is happy that she has not wasted her money on another toy that just sits on the shelf. Well worth the money. Extremely well made with a child's body shape in mind.
