it's very exciting to prep the tank and add the eggs...waiting for them to hatch. It only took one day for the sea monkeys to hatch. Can't wait until they get a bit larger so I can really watch them.
My 4 year old daughter has been bugging to take her to the pet store because she wants to get a "pet". They are the perfect low maintenance "pet" for a little kid. The packaging and castle aquarium are really cute for a little girl that loves princess gear, although it is smaller than we thought.

When the product arrived it was a little smaller than I thought it would be but, with the large size of some of the toys my kids get that was probably a good thing. It won't take up much space at all. I did have this item saved in my cart as I added more and more items and as it sat in my cart the price did increase by a few dollars. To me that seemed strange. All I do know is I had these as a child and can not wait for my kids to experence these as well.

Well, we followed the directions and so far have only about four sea monkeys alive in our tank. I wonder if more will grow. It's been less than a week so we'll see.
