Anything edible is fun for kids, so they liked making muffins and watermelon flavored candy :)

Gave this to my 8 year old daughter who loves to play in the kitchen and cook. Kept her entertained for a while. Not many experiments to do.

We have done 2 experiments together so far. ( My son is 8), he loves science so I got this for him. Right now we are making rock candy which involves about a week of waiting. We also made soda. He has had fun doing it so far, the kit is well made and instructions are easy. I think we will enjoy it

My daughter (8) wanted this for Christmas. I ordered it, but when I received it and had the chance to see what is actually included, I sent it back. This is not an exhaustive list of everything that is in the package (I did not open it) but it seemed to me it will be some baking soda, food coloring, flavouring and other additives and a few plastic measuring tools. I think most adults with a High school degree and access to the internet would be able to set up the projects with things from their pantry. I sent it back as a matter of principle, although I am quite sure my daughter would have enjoyed it.
