Unique, cute but straps could be more substantial

This backpack certainly is unique, and it's the right size for my 3 year old. The design is really fun, and right away my son wanted to go 'hiking' with it. My complaint is that the straps are a bit light, meaning they are skinny, just makes me wonder how long they'll hold up... but that is yet to be seen. Also, the closure mechanism is hard for a 3 year old to operate. Otherwise, I love this backpack.
