What could be better than a blanket tent? A couple of moms watched their little ones at play and realized that with a few added improvements that blanket tent could bring on even bigger imaginative fun. And they were right!
Fortamajig is brain-building, fort-making that far exceeds swiping sheets from your bed or blankets from the hall closet.
Not only do kids get to work with a huge, expanse of lightweight, very strong, 100% polyester fabric that is manufactured to duplicate nylon in durability and function. (8 feet square to be precise)… they gain a whole lot of creative genius and structural support when they attach all the loop and hook fastener tabs & loops to whatever strikes their fancy.
Fortamajig has a whopping total of 24 adjustable loops on its perimeter and 9 loops on the inner portion of the square. These extra tough loops fasten quickly and easily, and are adaptable to any area your child determines a good spot to “latch onto”… doors, chair backs, tree branches, drawer handles, bedposts, railings, etc. Best of all, the VELCRO® brand fastener tabs are of very high quality. They stay in place, so children aren’t frustrated by sliding blankets and caving ceilings. To the delight of kids, their play forts and hideaways stay up easily, and last longer than a day.
The ultimate washable, portable, storable and durable play tent – Fortamajig has no poles, no zippers, nothing complicated or unnecessary. Fortamajig does have a window that can be closed or open for visibility, (ask any kid, a window is a necessity). And it has four corner pockets that allow you to insert items for weight if you are playing in the windy outdoors, (pockets for filling… another necessity).
Fortamajig fosters creativity and problem-solving skills in kids from age 3 to pre-teen. Our 3-year old has long loved to build elaborate blanket forts with his daddy -- the fortamajig allows them to get even more creative and saves me from having to wash sheets. I'm a huge fan!

I'm actually reviewing the three I bought as Christmas gifts last year. The kids love them. I bought two more to give as Christmas gifts this year and they haven't yet been used. I've recommended the Fortamajig to many of my friends who have grandchildren.

I got this toy for my 5 year old boy and I am very pleased with it. It has so many loops and velcros that it really can be attached to almost everything. In fact, all those options encourage some problem solving and critical thinking as an extra bonus.

My son loves to make tents and engage in imaginative play. This is hte perfect toy for this that we can use anywhere and take with us to the grandparents.

Got this as a gift for my nephew just recently, so he hasn't had it long. But it seems he loves it and has come up with many ways to use it already. I'm guessing there will be lots of future fun!
