This was a gift for our grandson, aged 8. He needed help assembling the structure, so he and his father worked on it togegther. He says it works perfectly.

Even though there are a lot of pieces- it really is easy to assemble. It works wonderfully. It was a great family experience to put it together. We bought it for an almost 3 year old and an almost 4 year old. They both love it and use it daily.

My son loves Marble Mania, it involves different skills form assembling to creative thinking. Plus I love shopping Fat Brain Toys, they are a company that is all about customer service. Fast, easy ordering (once I decide what to buy!) fast shipping, Items always arrived well packaged excellent customer service. The toy itself was very difficult for my 8 year son to put together. His 19 year old brother had to help him. There are pages and pages of instructions. There were pieces missing. They had to make-shift sections as my son wanted to play with it. They also had to use duct tape to "adjust" a couple sections as the marbles kept shooting out of the toy or sticking in several places.

We certainly believe in duct tape, just not on toys. We promptly sent our customer a replacement for the defective kit.
