Winner of 19 Prestigious Awards! A best-selling mind puzzle past and present!
Bumper to bumper excitement that's jam-packed with challenge...4 big rig trucks, 11 compact cars. Your speedy red sports car stuck in the gridlock.
Your desire to do anything else comes to a screeching halt when you attempt to unsnarl the traffic challenges in Rush Hour and make your "full speed ahead" escape.
A flashy red sports car, (that's you-naturally), is stuck in a meddle of 4 big rig trucks and 11 compact cars. Do you curse, break into a sweat, give up, give in to the pressure? Noooo Waayyyy!! Sliding colorful blocks-you rev cars & trucks forward, backward. Shifting the vehicle positions and weakening the gridlock...until Phheww! Freedom on the open road! ( and IF you're in a brain jam...hopelessly halted, there will be no citing for traffic violations - just dump out the pieces and start again!)
Better than a brain teaser, Rush Hour is a premier sliding block puzzle designed to challenge your sequential thinking skills. Start simple with Level 1 puzzles and by the time you hit Level 4, you'll be hitting the high road with handling expertise in problem solving.
Paving the way for whole family fun, this set includes 40 challenge cards from Beginner to Expert (Rush Hour is designed to challenge all skill levels.) 16 Cars, 1 Grid Tray for play with a neat pull-out tray for easy storage.
The genius who invented the game is Nob Yoshigahara, a world-renowned inventor of puzzles. Now, Nob may have dealt with his share of "What was that name again?", but believe us...people recognize his best selling games. Rush Hour is such a run-away favorite it's now available in Rush Hour Jr., Railroad, and Safari Editions.
Keep Rush Hour tucked under your coffee table and you'll keep a freeway of fun at everyone's fingertips.

As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.

 |
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 8 years of age.

Rush Hour game

I purchased this game for my Grandson and we played with it only one time while he was visiting me, so I don't know how much he is playing with it at home. We found it to be a very clever and challenging game and it certainly gives your brain a work out! I think that once you catch on to the logic, it would be hard to put down!

My granddaughter loves the game we bought for her as a gift. Our son told me "it really makes you think", I am delighted. I wish all games I bought were able to stimulate their minds as well as be fun for them to play. I haven't had the opportunity to play the game yet but am looking forward to playing it with her and probably getting beat!

It sits on the dinning table and all members of the family play whenever they feel like it. They are 10, 6, and 3. Besides playing rush hour my 10 year old grandson sets up positions for the 6 and 3 year old. Their mom says they all love it.

The 6 year old boy was introduced to the game "Rush Hour" in his enrichment class at school. He insisted I order it for use at home. He loves it.

My boys love this game and it really holds their attention. I would like to buy more cards to go with this game.
