Magnets

I was looking for strong magnets to use for "meteor hunting" in the desert with my son. I read some of the other comments before purchasing, and I do agree that the packaging is tuff to open and the magnets really should be pictured next to something. A penny is a good size comparison. They are slightly smaller. As for their strength, it is really great! I couldn't get them to "stick" together with my hand in the center, but I could get one underneath my hand to "move" the other in my palm. Pretty cool trick to show my son. When they do stick together, it is hard to pull them apart!
Definitely mighty!

I recently purchased the all-mighty magnet to hold my calendar on my office board. Just as I had hoped, the magnet does the job! It's great that it is so powerful, yet so small.

These little cubes really do the job. Small, but powerful, they have a quite a bit of holding strength. Great for keeping fairly heavy items on refrigerator (a calendar in this case). They don't slide down. My complaint is in the manufacturer's packaging. Each magnet is encased securely and attractively in a clear plastic cube. A label covers the opening on all four sides. The only way to get it off is to scratch at it with your fingernails. You might want to suggest to the manufacturer that they allow for easier access to their product.

I could find nothing to hold my large calendar on the refrigerator. I usually had to tape many magnetic strips on the back, but I bought 4 of these magnets and just 2 do the trick!

Although stronger than anything I could have imagined, the magnets are much smaller than the picture would lead you to believe. Maybe a comparison to a well known item such as a penny show next to it in the picture would be helpful? They definitely deserve their name, and are VERY powerful, but to my dismay, are slightly more powerful than their holder, and are difficult to remove from the fridge with the holder that is "attached" unless there is paper already under them. They do get the job done, and even hold to each other on opposite sides of my adult hand (AMAZING to see!!!).
