Astronauts of all ages and sizes will love tasting this authentic Astronaut Ice Cream Sandwich. Tastes just like the real thing because it is the real thing! Start with one Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich and remove all water through freeze drying. The result is ice cream without the ice - just like the astronauts eat in space. Warning: Astronaut Ice Cream Sandwich is quite fragile, and although it is well packaged in a foil container, there may be some breakage during shipping. However it is always delicious to eat, and fun to taste "Real Astronaut Food," especially when that food is ice cream!
Ingredients: Milk fat, nonfat milk, corn syrup, whey, stabilized and emulsified by mono and diglycerides, guar gum, cellulose gum and carageenan, artificial flavor, and vegetable annatto color. Wafer ingredients: Bleached wheat flour, sugar, caramel color, corn sugar, vegetable shortening (partially hydrogenated oils, soybean, cotton seed), corn flour, corn syrup, cocoa, modified corn starch, salt, baking soda, mono and diglycerides, soy lecithin.
Please note: Both the manufacturer and Fat Brain Toys do our best to get the Ice Cream Sandwiches to you in one piece; however due to the very fragile nature of this product, occasionally, an Ice Cream Sandwich will arrive in smaller sections. It's still just as delicious!

This is a food product, so the "rarely plays with it" choice is entirely appropriate, and not a negative.
I was surprised to see that it actually looked like an ice cream sandwich, albeit a round one. I really don't know how much it TASTED like an ice cream sandwich, but I heard no complaints. Seemed a little pricey for an ice cream sandwich, but the novelty IS pretty neat.
