Nor does he have any sensory issues regarding the level of light coming from the moon. Though the moon cycles through its phases, it does so at a slow enough pace that it does not provoke a foul response from our son. The remote control comes in handy because as our son gets bored or impatient with the speed of the moon, he can advance it himself. It has proven to be a wonderful product. He has a fear of the dark and uses it as a night light. If he wakes up in the night, he'll use the remote to turn the moon back on. Since the moon shuts itself off after so many minutes, we save batteries as well."

My husband and I bought the moon in my room for our 3 year old son. He was recently diagnosed with autism and also recently became obsessed with the moon! It was probably the greatest gift we could have ever gotten him! It soothes him to sleep every night and he can still have fun with it during the day! The moon is very easy to operate and we love the automatic shut off feature!
