Great, sturdy toy! I made a medieval play castle for my two grandkids and placed the torches on each of the castle towers completing the look. Although a little rugged for a castle, they completed the decor, (for a castle must have torches, right?) the kids love to take them off the ring and pretend they're knights looking for hidden dragons and enemies. When they leave, they know to hang them up so they don't get misplaced. I find this toy very versatile and safe.
