Coaster is a puzzle in the series of fine Hanayama Cast Puzzles by Puzzle Master.
With a Level 4 difficulty, Coaster was created by Ukrainian puzzle designer Serhiy Grabarchuk. When together, it indeed works as a coaster. Remember, taking it apart is only half the fun. The true test of your genius lies in putting it back together again! Level 4 is Challenging!
This beautiful dexterity puzzle is made of intricately molded zinc alloy and features bright finish. It makes a classy, eye-catching, desktop accessories as well as challenging diversions.
The included booklet illustrates the challenge for each puzzle in the series, but please note that solutions are not provided in order for you to experience the "fun" and "agony" of solving the puzzle.

This is a nicely made puzzle. I bought it as a gift for an adult and it was difficult enough to keep his interest.

I really like this puzzle and the challenge of getting it apart, but cannot get it back together. It does nothing but lead to frustration. Why, why, why doesn't it come with instructions or ideas (other than "weave") to help the player get it back together. Even with instructions, it would be a challenge. It would be far more enjoyable and promote learning! Now I have this useless pile of metal that causes nothing but frustration. I will never again purchase a puzzle that doesn't come with some kind of informative information/instructions on how to put it back together. I'm hoping that when my son--a mechanical engineer--visits he can put it together so I can at least use it as a coaster. A big mistake purchase on my part.
