Even at about 10-15' away the quality is nearly at a point you can't use the product. Increased range degrades the product quality further. (Note from Fat Brain Toys: We contacted our customer to offer assistance. The manufacturer suggests insertion of new batteries. The walkie talkies may perform better outdoors.)
