I'm a professional artist and I'd been looking for a large mechanical pencil for quick sketches in thick lines for years. This pencil is exactly what I wanted; it makes great bold lines and keeps the sketch paper from getting smeared and messy.

My son enjoys using this pencil to do his homework with. I got it to see if it would help him with his pencil grip. He is in 4th grade and we are trying to help him correct how he is holding his pencil. We had an OT at school tell us it was too late for him to change! I did not believe this and am taking my son's grip into my own hands and believe the chubby pencil will help us correct this finally!
