Crayola: Outdoor Adventure From its earliest beginnings, Crayola has been a color company. The Crayola company came into being when cousins Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith took over Edwin's father's pigment business in 1885. Easton, Pennsylvania continues as the home of Crayola even today, more than 120 years later.
Color, creativity, learning and fun are the hallmarks of the Crayola company. Legendary Crayola products continue to make life better as vibrant color, ingenious creative art supplies, and clever toy designs inspire smiles the world over.
