Tired of seeing his grandchildren play with round logs that failed to fit together well & dismayed in watching their cabins shift and collapse, Roy K. Dennison, devised a tighter, interlocking fit to logs, making buildings sound & realistic and providing children with hours of fun. His company, Roy Toys flourished until his death.
After nearly 30 years, Bruce Dennison set out to pick up where his grandfather left off. "The old machines were scattered about the town, many missing parts and the secrets to their operation a mystery. But he persisted and... the puzzle was solved."
Today, Roy Toy classic wooden playsets consist of hand cut pine logs, stained with a non-toxic dye and maintains the original red wooden gables and green roof planks - just like the originals. The tradition of American ingenuity, unique toy design & high quality wooden toy construction continues.
