GEOtoys Imaginative Play GeoToys was started by Bob Galinsky, who came up with the idea for Geopuzzles after watching his son learn all the U.S. states from a jigsaw puzzle.
"Why aren't there any puzzles of the different continents, to help kids learn geography?" he wondered. Galinsky teamed up with a professor of graphic design to create GeoPuzzles, which have since won recognition from several educational toy experts,
including a "Smart Play" award from Dr. Toy.
The idea behind the GeoPuzzles is simple - the pieces of a GeoPuzzle are shaped like individual countries, so children learn as they put the puzzle together!
GeoPuzzles make geography fun and help to build fine motor, cognitive, language, and problem-solving skills. They are a great introduction to world geography for children 4 and up. The jumbo sized, brightly colored GeoPuzzles are available for 5 major continents.
