The name is derived from Tegucigalpa, the capital city of Honduras, where Tegu magnetic blocks are making a lasting difference in the lives of Hondurans and the country’s economy. Paying living wages, making possible long-term career growth and partnering with local schools, the Tegu company is helping Hondurans on many levels. Harvesting wood responsibly, each tree is hand selected at maturity for use, facilitating the forest’s natural regeneration cycle. A portion of revenue from each set of Tegu blocks is donated for replanting efforts.
