It's a loosely held secret that I have an addiction...an addiction to Kickstarter. For those of you familiar with the "crowd-funding" platform, you know what I mean. About a year ago, I stumbled upon an intriguing project called "Makey Makey". It involved a circuit board, a computer, and six bananas...enough said, I was sold! You can see it here on Kickstarter for yourself.
As a backer of the project, I had the pleasure of receiving one of the first production runs of Makey Makey. Then a few months later, I was even more excited when we became a reseller for Makey Makey, thus allowing us to spread the Makey Makey gospel.
Based upon my description so far, you might be questioning what that gospel might be. For that you really need to watch the attached video of Makey Makey's inventor, Jay Silver. The presentation is about 13 minutes long, but well worth the investment!
To give you a taste of what the presentation is about, this is the warning that you'll find on the side of every Makey Makey box: "WARNING! User may start to believe they can change the way the world works. Extended usage may result in creative confidence."
We couldn't agree more!
