I Like The Title, As I Use Noodle-Sticks In The Classroom When Working On The Different

As a teacher I love the ease of use of “Noodlers”. I don’t have to worry about lost or broken game pieces, as I run copies of the appropriate pages for the students to work on and use long spaghetti stick (noodles) for game-sticks. “Noodlers” are a great activity for students who finish early and it challenges their spatial thinking skills at different levels.

This is a great activity book! I am a middle school resource math teacher and I have used these activities as warm-up problems. The kids love them and they are great for building spacial and problem solving skills.

Pretty Tricky And Lots Of Fun!

A fun and challenging activity on your own (child or parent) or working as a team. I bought this for my 8-year old, but my husband and I enjoy it as much as she does. We often try to solve the puzzles together. Fun to do again and again, because we can never remember the solutions (solutions do appear in the back). Totally portable, no bigger or heavier than an ultra-slim coloring book. One little complaint. The binding prevents the pages from laying totally flat, so the wooden sticks sometimes roll across the page. We have to hold them in place as we complete a puzzle.

My rating of Noodlers Eye-Bending Icons

The puzzles are challenging and fun, though I'd like a little variety in the types of puzzles. I have tried them at home with my family. The real test will come when I use them with a group of 32 gifted students at my school. My hope is that the puzzles help in expanding visual-spatial skills.

Noodlers Eye-Bending Icons

My 11 year old daughter was very keen on these puzzles whereas my 9 year old son was not keen at all. I purchased Perplexers Basic Level, Grid Perplexors Level A, and Deductibles Level A at the same time and both children preferred each of these books over the Noodlers workbook. In fact, my 9 year old son sat down one afternoon and worked through the entire Grid Perplexers workbook in one go.
