As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 3 years of age.
Identified Special Needs Challenges: ADD/ADHD,
Sensory Integration Disorder
"Great for kids who need a quiet motor activity to keep their bodies still while listening to an adult - or some other boring activity."
Identified Special Needs Challenges: Cerebral Palsy
"I believe that this would be perfect for an autistic child or a child with cerebal palsy that is not as severe as our grand daughter's case. We think someone should invent the same exact toy with magnetic qualities so that children like our grand daughter can just put them together in different ways, rather than trying to link them together. Can also be used to teach the concept of round, ball, etc. and for the primary colors.
Identified Special Needs Challenges: Developmental Delay,
"Both of the children love brightly colored objects and BALLS are always a favorite both of them are drawn toward."
I bought this for my 2 and half year old. I think she is a little young for this and has limited interest in it...not as exciting as some of her other toys. Maybe as she gets older this will become something she enjoys more.
Playable art ball

Every one's intrigued. perfect for any age and really great for a office desk, especially attorneys and doctors offices where people have to wait and may be nervous. It relieves anxiety and takes the mind off other things. I think the most challenging part is how to fit it back in the box! Enjoy.
Excellent fidget toy

Terrific toy for fidgeters. So fun to take apart and put back together in different ways. Both my kids (ages 7 and 8) love it and use it while listening to stories to keep themselves busy. I plan to send it to school with one of them to use as a fidget toy during less active parts of the school day.
