Maybe you never had the chance to zoom around on a scooter like this as a kid. (There's always tomorrow!)
From toddlers to teens, kids can't resist putting a knee, a bottom, a foot or a belly down for a spin. Across abilities and age ranges, you get your money's worth with this floor scooter.
Many traits make this 16 inch scooter a favorite for safety and fun. A broad, flat surface, close to the ground means lesser likelihood of injury. The contoured handles that help children grip this sturdy plastic scooter offer outstanding stability and balance. And you'll appreciate the fact that playing on a scooter like this develops strength of the upper and lower extremities. Toy scooters support motor planning and vestibular activities. Children can sit, kneel or lie in a prone position for prone extension on their scooter.
Beyond that, scooter riding (especially with a friend) is a whole lot of fun! To think that these clever little scooters are available outside of a PE class is fantastic! To see such them at such a great price is even better!

An excellent toy to develop strength, balance & coordination
As one of the top online toy retailers, we have access to unprecendented quantities of product review data. One of the key ways that we use this data is by associating our products to the specific ages and genders of the kids who are playing with them. Whereas most retailers must rely upon manufacturer suggested ages (i.e. 3+), we take actual customer usage and share it with you here so that you can choose the perfect toy or game.
But how does this help me? You can use these graphs as a general measure of it's appropriateness for a given age and gender. While this information is generally accurate, it should not be used as an absolute answer. For instance, many dinosaur toys are purchased for boys, however, that doesn't mean that it's inappropriate for a girl who happens to like dinosaurs.
NOTE: The orange color in the charts above indicate ages that are LESS than the manufacturer suggested age. Please purchase at your discretion if your child is younger than 0 years of age.

"Our occupational therapists uses the scooter board with my daughter lying on her belly on the board and using her hands to pull herself along a distance, picking up foam alphabet puzzle pieces on the way and putting them on the foam board puzzle she lies on her back while propelling along. Great for muscle strengthening her upper body & core and even more so for implementing her motor planning & following directions. LOVE IT!"
Not as easy as it seems

It looks so fun for the kids in the video but it is actually harder than it seems. My 4 yr old tried it but couldn't get himself mobile around easily. I tried it few times and actually got pretty good at it. So I am more happy with the product than my 4 yr old. He likes the plasmacar better.
The product itself is very simple and good quality. The wheels roll smoothly (we have hardwood floor) and the body is hard plastic, very strong. I also used it to move couple medium boxes (full of grocery) from garage door to the kitchen, lol.
great product great price

I bought this for use as part of my Occupational Therapy tool box! This works great for building UE strength and trunk control! AND the kids LOVE IT! My own kids wanted to play with it and they are 6 years and 10 years! If you have a home with non carpeted floors, this would also be great indoor winter play to help the kiddies get the lead out as part of a sensory diet while also helping to develop arm and trunk/back muscles!
My son has a neuromuscular disorder and can no longer balance or walk. I got him this toy because he is devastated that he can no longer do his original scooter. This made him so happy to be sliding around again!
