    Great idea, poor materials

My children only got to do one experiment before the included bottle MELTED from the hot water asked for in the directions. It collapsed so fast, i couldn't even get it over the sink before I had to drop it to avoid being scalded. So the water splashed all over, barely missing my daughters.

There are a lot of fun activities he can do on his own, although I like to supervise him just to make sure he isn't making a mess. The experiments are fun, informative, and things he can do over and over again

My grandson received this for his 8th birthday recently. He loved it! He has developed a real interest in "experiments", so this really hit the mark. I also ordered another kit, which he is also enjoying.

There are a bunch of great experiments in this set. It is nice to be able to do simple science experiments at home. It has engaged our 8 year old for quite a while.

I bought this as an 8th birthday gift for my godson and he really loved it; but it may not have been as challenging as I had hoped since he sent me a video with him working through the projects by himself and rather quickly. However, this appeals to his parents because it doesn't require batteries, uses items found in any household and is a great teaching aid. It also engaged the interest of his 5 year old sister.

I am sorry I cannot give any opinion at the moment. This was a Christmas Gift for a little boy. He will not get it until Christmas. I will be glad to give you a review after that date.

    Great father-son interaction.

I though this looked like a great stocking stuffer for my nephew. I think anything hands on that makes children uses their brain power is a perfect idea. Quality looks goods and can't wait for him to dig in to it

this was a birthday gift for my 7 year old granddaughter - science learning is good ... she can't wait to try all the experiments listed in the book.

My nine year old daughter and I are both equally satisfied with pop bottle science. This has not only been a fun challenge for her but also a fun bonding experience for both of us. The only drawback was the amount of materials included. Both of us were definitely expecting more materials inside. But it has still been a blast so far

ordered this for my 7 year old son. He is extremely intelligent, and it is super hard to find any thing to captivate him. This Pop Bottle Science kit did just that! He was bright eyed when he opened it. He is constantly reading the instruction booklet. There are SO many experiments he can choose from! You will need to help your child with them all. But that is no problem because they are fun and its fun to watch your child's excitement.
